During the "stay at home" period, SOMA YOGA SCOTLAND continues to offer classes, bringing them to the comfort of your home, by running them ONLINE. Yoga practice is very helpful in both dealing with the added stress of these times, and with improving the heath of your immune system, thus increasing your chance to stay healthy and virus free.  We look forward to meeting you.

Shivaratri Yang Spiral Meditation

Shiva meditation
Soma Yoga Centre, Leith, Edinburgh

Each month there is one special night, which in the Tantric and Yogi tradition is called the Night of Shiva - Shivaratri. This is a time when the subtle ambiance mostly supports our inner discovery, so it is the best time in the month to do meditation.

This Night of Shiva is celebrated each month, just before the rising of the New Moon. It is also called the night of consciousness, as it is the night when we easiest become aware of the light of awareness that shines within each one of us.

Soma Yoga Centre invites you to join us in this monthly celebration of the Light of Consciousness, so that we may spread this light outside, as well, into the subtle ambiance of our beautiful city, and even the entire country and planet.

This month the meditation will take place on Wednesday, so it will be right after the class. So we kindly ask you, that you either join us from 6pm, if you wish to have an extra day of group practice, or if you wish to come for the meditation only, then take a seat in our waiting area, until we finish the class and invite you in.

This is an event open to everyone, and it is FREE, so everyone is welcome, provided you are contacting us beforehand, to sign up for the event, and receive some introductory notions.

Please note that if you arrive passed 8.10pm, you will not be able to join the meditation anymore.
