New Ecstatic Yoga courses

Submitted by Sublima on Fri, 05/10/2018 - 16:03

We are delighted to invite you to join us for the new academic year of our ecstatic yoga course.

With each autumn, Soma Yoga Scotland opens the doors to creating new yoga groups, to start on this spiritual journey, searching to discover a deeper meaning in life and find a way to practice yoga with a fully awakened heart, as to bring more joy into our lives.  The course runs weekly in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Each classes last approximately 2 hours, and the knowledge of one week always builds up on what you have learned the previous weeks. Our teachings are based on annual curriculums, and our purpose is to teach and guide experienced and beginner yogis on this path of exploring and practising yoga in a way that awakens your heart and expands your consciousness.

Our yoga course addresses both the physical body and the more subtle layers of the being, like the energetic body, the body of thoughts and emotions, the supramental, and the ultimate body of bliss. With practice, we gradually become able to perceive the more refined forms of energies, and our consciousness becomes ever more present, and thus it brings more intensity and more freedom to choose our life and make it be exactly as we wish it to be.

Join us for a try out and see how it works for you! We are here every week and really look forward to meeting you, and walking this path together.

Yoga class

As we begin our 3rd year as a registered SCIO in Scotland, Soma Yoga School is delighted to invite you to our new yoga centre in Leith Links.

Our new Beginners 1st year ecstatic yoga courses are running on a weekly basis in Edinburgh and Glasgow.  Furthermore, as we now have our own yoga centre in Edinburgh, we are now happy to offer drop-in yoga sessions several days per week, at different times during the day, so that everyone can benefit from yoga practice.  The drop-in classes are practice-only sessions, under the guidance of a yoga teacher, but with no theoretical teaching involved. If you would like to explore and learn more about this tradition, please join our ecstatic yoga course.

As part of our charitable mission to make Yoga available to all, we have some concessionary offers for discounted or free entry.
